Hi Everyone,

I know there's always a furry friend needing a loving home but I spoke to Ruth at Peyia Animal Rescue earlier and she says they have a few older kittens, between 5-9 months old.
Unfortunateley they are proving hard to home as they are a 'little' bit bigger than your little tiny baby kitten.
I have seen 2, a tortoishell/white female and her brother, tabby/white, they are beautiful and so friendly, they just want someone to love them :(

She has a beige coloured male about 9 months old, also gorgeous.
Seems such a shame that they are being rejected because of their size, so if ANY of you kind people out there either knows of anyone or you can offer a home please contact Ruth.
The alternative is for them to go back on the streets where they came from if a home can't be found and that would be a crying shame

As some of you know we are up to limit at the moment in our house, as we have 6 cats and a dog, so don't think I'm not doing my bit

Paula :)

I would love to help as I've always been a big fan of cats (I like their attitude! 8) ) but unfortunately my good lady wife is massively allergic to them.

There's a family on our complex have about 8 cats already too, so I can imagine there would be some squabbles over territory!

Good luck finding homes though!

Thanks, it's so hard.
If people do want a cat, they always want a 'tiny' little thing, which is understandable cause they are cute, but the older ones give so much love back. And they are beautiful colours and still not adult size yet.
They are really adorable :D Am I selling them yet
Please, if anyone can think of any friends that might be interested. If you saw them you would fall in love with them, I will try and get some pictures.
Paula :)

I know my missus would love a cat/kitten but I don't think our Noushka would be too impressed if we brought one home, she'd probably think its a play toy or summit & chase it everywhere
She tries very hard to play with the big cats around our area but they just run away all the time, I bet she thinks there's something wrong with her, as no one want to play fight all the time

The cat would soon put her in her place, Pete. They are often the pack leader in any mixed animal household.

We had a German Shepherd who actually had a tear running down her face because she was so desperate to play with two kittens we rescued. They were having none of it and our dog soon found out where she was in the pecking order.

She was very protective of us with anyone or anything else. But these kittens had her acting like a big pussy cat.

Paula, Ray would kill me if I took another cat home. As you know we already have 7 and the dog. Every time he goes away with his job , he comes home to find another cat. I would love to help, but I think my neighbours would throw me off the complex. Out of 17 houses, only i other family has a pet. All have time on there hands but no one seems to like animals on our complex.

Good luck, you are doing a great job.

If they all have time on their hands does that mean they are retired? If so, although I am not retired, I can relate to why they don't want animals.

After over 30 years of having animals I won't have any more. We love them, but they are a tie. We want some time for us, and want to be able to decide to book into an hotel on the spur of the moment, or take off for the weekend if we want. It would be irresponsible of us to take on any more pets, given that we know what we want from this stage in our lives.

I would rather be honest about how I feel than do what some people do. They let their hearts rule their heads, give homes to animals, then a couple of months or years down the road they decide that they can't take them with them when they move, or they have jobs and are not at home to give time to the animals. Or they simply don't want them any more. Then the poor animals are uprooted, put into shelters, dumped. How must they feel?

It is great to see people who genuinely care for animals, who give them homes and make the commitment. But so many don't.

It would be great to see these kittens homed. But only by people who will make a commitment to the animal for the next 15 plus years. They are not toys.

Good luck in finding them homes, Paula. I know you are committed to animals and they are lucky to have you rooting for them.
