It's not too warm here in Yeri either, should have stayed in bed this morning but the necessity to earn money overrides the need for warmth these days

Oh NO,

It's snowing here in Kamares now. I can honestly say, I was NEVER this cold in the uk.. AND.. I worked outside.

I feel like the little match girl, trying to peek into peoples homes who look all warm and toastie. The cat climbed up the chimney last night, if it gets any colder I'll be tempted to follow it.

Took the girls out a couple of hours ago and on the way back the hail started, wind was horrendous, even they couldn't get back fast enough. Candymoo kept jumping as she has never been out in hail before and thought someone was hitting her - even after over a year with us and no one touching her she is still a nervous wreck.

Steve was only saying today that it hurts him when he tells Koo Koo off to go away and Candy runs away too.

Bless their little cotton socks. Will have to hunt their little knitted coats I made for Candy the year before last when she had no coat to keep her warm.

Anyone wanting a designer coat knitted for their dog :?:

I've just been out to take the rubbish out and it's absolutely baltic out there now - I've put some fiery chilli on for tea to get some internal heat going, then an evening huddled in front of the heater beckons I think!

Was looking forward to coming out to warmer weather and perhaps some sun after March 2nd when we arrive in Cyprus, alas looks like we need to bring the boots and woollies.

Sorry about the size of the pic foregot.

Chris I've often visited the Matamp Amplifier factory at Meltham, they make classic all valve Guitar amplifiers.
Probably told you already; but who cares I'm 65 soon, old age creeping on.

Where you turn into the big supemarket, there are some older stone buildings to the left; it's one of those.

Crikey, that's as cold as it is here!!! The only difference is we haven't seen any snow at all this winter. But that maybe cos it's a very rare occurrence in Pembrokeshire. Hope you have all got your thermals and leccy blankets

It was cold enough last night without getting any colder. Even the girls done their wees in extra quick time and pulling me back to the house. I had a fleecy hat on, scarf, parka, two fleeces, polo neck, vest and that wind still went through it all.

John,

Small world! If you are talking about the Morrisons supermarket in Meltham we are just a few yards up the road! Didn't know there was an amplifier factory there - but there again I don't get out much! Didn't know there was a coffee factory in Meltham either, wondered why there was a strong coffe smell when the wind was in a certain direction!

Freezing fog here and still -2deg at 11am, not much chance of it clearing today.

That's nothing mate - I used to feel the cold a fair bit when I was a nipper so me Mam took to making me wear big woolly tights under my school trousers - kept the cold out OK, but led to a phenomenal volume of micky-taking once word got out! Kids can be so cruel....

And no, before anyone says it, i wasn't 16 at the time! :P

Oh you're a brave man to admit that on a open forum mate :rofl

Its not as bad as it sounds, as I know of several big, rough, hard nosed Para's who use to wear womens tights under their DPM's while down the Falklands, 10x better than thermals they'd said

Well that's the excuse they use to tell me anyway, me, I'd stick to the thermals anyday

Hi Pam
Really is a small world, the amps are made to the original concept of 'Matt Mathias' (hence Matamp) who had a place on King Street Huddersfield, Matt designed and produced the Orange Amps, if you've heard the instrumental 'Albatross' then you've heard Orange which was used by Fleetwood Mac when they recorded it.

Freezing here as well.

I came to Cyprus for a little sunshine and what did I get, freezing cold, high winds, rain, hail, snow, thunder and lightening everything but sunshine :? sods law or what :?:

In all of the years I have been coming in Feb I cant ever remember it being this cold :!: :!:

Yesterday I had two oil filled rads, halogen heater and the oven on to warm the place up took two hours to filter thru but at least I was warm, never mind a little sunshine tomorrow, I hope.
