Paphos People

Dear denizens of Paphos, you are cordially invited to join us on the occasion of the April 2010 Paphos People Night Out.

This month’s festivities will take the form of a Traditional Cyprus Barbecue, and be held at Costas Taverna in Peyia, commencing from 7.30pm on Friday 30th April.

The evening’s repast shall consist of:

Locally sourced and freshly prepared Village Salad, accompanied with fresh village bread and served with olives and a selection of dips including tzatziki, taramasalata, tahini and Russian salad

A selection of meats from the barbecue, seasoned and charcoal grilled in the traditional Cypriot style – chicken, pork and lamb, served with pommes de terre

A fresh seasonal fruit platter

The owner of said hostelry requires renumeration of only 13 Euros per person for provision of the aforementioned feast.

All are welcome, and the presence of those who have not attended our previous evenings is most especially solicited. We sincerely look forward to greeting you all on the night.

I've added the names so far to the opening post - great to see a few new names on there!

And no-one needs to worry about finding someone to sit next to - Mr Costas has the space to set us up with one big table, so everyone will be sitting next to everyone.

Costas Taverna used to be really good and I've no reason to suspect otherwise now.

I'll still be in foreign parts. Damn !!
