Hi, thanks Rick, but the only words in English on the map
are Eleftheria stadium! So I am none the wiser as to where
it is located. Does anyone else know?

From the map it looks like it's right next to the Makario stadium, which you can see from the main road into Nicosia, well before the centre.

Sorry I can't be more specific but from what I recall it's pretty difficult to miss!

Maybe zoom out using the symbols on the left of the map, you sould get your bearings eventually. I would quite happily print that map and follow it, looks like you head on the main motorway to nicosia, when you see the large stadium on your left you take the next exit onto the B22, follow B22 right untl the end and then take a right, then the next major right to be within spitting distance of the stadium !! Or head over the mountains, down from Kakopetria and through Peristerona then jump on the dual carriageway and arrive on the right side of town a few blocks from the stadium.

If i remember correctly the State Fair/Exhibition Ground/Location is well signposted, and the stadia are right next to the exhibition venue.

sorry yeh dutch nailed it with the zoom out, as i read greek abait at a pretty miserable level you forget others can't.
