Six years today, I came to Cyprus - didn't know a soul and had never been here in my life before. Thanks to all of you have made things such fun.

Seems to have been a good move, so far!

Hi Lesley ... how brave!

I can't imagine just turning up in a strange country, not knowing anyone or anything. What made you choose Cyprus then?

It could have been anywhere between Gibraltar and Tobruk, I just wanted some sun in my bones. Having had a constant argument with my parents that they had me in the wrong climate, anywhere round the Med would have done. I only came for 3 months!

You were the 1st person I met when I came over last month.....3 hours off the plane and I rang u, half an hour later I was in the Prince...u made me feel so welcome, even though we didn't get chance to chat much....and from there I met all the other lovely people...well I hope I can get back there soon.....and settle too
