Paphos People

The insurance on our apartment is due this month. During my investigations to check the value of their renewal quote I have come across a Company who have provided me with a figure significantly under the current company. However I have not heard of them and am wary about giving them any business in case they may not be kosher.

Has anyone had any dealings with AB Insurance who have an office in Paphos. I am interested in any contact you may have had with them, good or bad.

Hi John, if I am not mistaken this is the company that had the Abbeygate franchise in Cyprus. They did a runner telling no one, about 2 years ago now taking of Abbeygate clients and client lists, I along with many others left in the lurch paid money no documents etc. Abbeygate had to send people from the UK to find what happened they found the office gutted, computers records etc, they had nightmare trying to sort out all the clients, as these people took all the computers with peoples records. My understanding is or was the Abbeygate are pursuing them through the courts, I am pretty sure they set this new company up as AB insurance, ring Abbeygate to check it out and the whole story will be come apparent....I stand to be corrected....and of course will withdrawn my statement if wrong...ring Abbeygate.... Richard
