Do you know how big something has to be before it no longer constites a "chip"?

I've got some areas of paintwork that could use some attention, but they're a bit bigger than the average stone-chip!

Can he do anything with dents too??

After what you posted on your 'Exhausting morning' post, do you really want to spend money on your current vehicle, especially if your MOT is due soon :? :?

I'm an eternal optimist - my battered old Vitara has served me faithfully for 4 years now and I'm reluctant to give up on him just because he's getting a bit rough round the edges!

There's too much of a throwaway culture these days - I like to make sure I wear things into the ground! :D Besides I harbour ambitions one of these days of giving him a total makeover pimp-my-ride style!

I was just wondering whether getting all my weathered/chipped/dented paint areas attended to individually would be cheaper than a total respray - anyone any idea what one of those costs over here?

If it's a big 'chip' or a small dent, it may be cheaper for you to get the work done at a car body shop as chips away can be expensive (don't know about the one in paphos)

What here in Cyprus, I doubt that very much considering the amount of wrecks driving around that I've seen

I saw a car last summer with no windscreen or bumpers on the Mesoyi road, I think that's why they're clamping down on MOT's & Tax, so that heaps get taken off the road to make it a little safer

As I said, I doubt your car is in that sort of state or is it :? :?

So that will mean more "heaps" dumped in areas of beauty. Maybe they could clamp down on that while they are at it.

We followed a "heap" up the Polis Road last May, in the dark, and the only lights it had were the hazard lights. We followed it all the way to the Polemi turning. Turning sharply with no indicators nealy had us run into it.

That would be a great business if someone had a little capital & a piece of land, you could do a scrap yard, you'd probably get a grant off the government or something to go around collecting all the scrap cars & scrapping them :D

I am sure they were offering cash to people wanting to dispose of scrapped vehicles, does not seem to have worked too well.
