Paphos People

This is just a quick post because my internet has been down quite a bit lately (temporary problems, and it will get sorted, but I am not always able to get on line at the moment). This means that I have a page and a half of posts to catch up on on this forum alone, let alone the other sections. Plus umpteen emails that I have not seen for a couple of days.

Some of you know that I have been waiting the results of some tests to see whether I have to remain gluten free. Well, I went yesterday and they say that I have to have more biopsies next week so that they can compare the two sets. One of the other tests came back "insufficient sample" which is lab speak for " we never received/have lost the sample". That was the test that I was anxious about. Isn't it just the way? So I am no further forward with anything, really.

I have a friend coming over shortly, so I am off to do the usual cleaning of the loo. She will have to put up with any dust - but she will anyway cos she is a friend. I have told her to bring her own food. I only have GF biscuits and foul GF chocolate, which she is welcome to.

Anyway, I thought I would let you know that I am still here. Just not able to get onto the internet at times. So well done to those with good news, and welcome to those who are new, and glad to see you are all still posting and enjoying PP to those who are now making the site what it is.

Spot on, Jan. It has thrown me - I won't deny it. I have not had anything physically wrong with me and had lulled myself into a false sense of security by thinking that the scales were full on the mental health side, so I would always be okay physically. What an butt!

I definitely believe in getting things sorted, then moving on. Life is too short to bury your head in the sand, and too precious to waste.

Oh Verity as if you haven't been waiting long enough.
