Well another entry in the ongoing saga of the CF-mobile - after last month's fun and games with my tyres this time it was the turn of the exhaust to play up - had been starting to blow a little recently (oo-er missus!), but over the last couple of days it had reached full-blown Sherman tank status - people were jumping out the road while I was still half a mile away!

Anyway, get him down the doctor this morning - busy so nearly an hour wait chewing the fat with a group of old Cypriot blokes and their coffees - managed some interesting exchanges considering they didn't speak English and my Greek is limited at best - got by with my usual mix of English, a few Greek words and a bit of French thrown in for fun - "Sorry mate, je ne parle Elinika!" :D

Finally get seen and it turns out not only is the front box rattling like a good-un but there's a nice crack in the manifold too - could fix the first bit no bother but didn't have the right parts to do the manifold, and of course it's Wednesday so everywhere is closing...

So rattled myself back home, and will start again tomorrow - time for a lie down now I think......

p.s. did you see what i did with the title there - clever eh??

:hammertime
