Post subject:  Not a pretty sight
After enjoying myself last night I had to take the girls for their evening walk.

Can I sue a builder here? I fell and I will look lovely tomorrow for another interview as my face is all grazed, as well as both knees and a badly cut hand. The girls were walking over the metal rods on the pavement and they moved and it made me trip up.

Tilly - it wasn't through the agency and since within a few hours of sending the CV out they phoned me for an interview, they must be keen. :D

I think I will end up with a black eye as well. :cry:

Bloody hell Trish - just go in there and tell them straight out what happened. Laugh about it, and you'll get them laughing as well. Just go in and say something like "Honestly, I don't usually look like this, in fact I usually look good. This is what happened . . ."

It could have happened to anybody, but no, it had to happen to YOU!

Just go in there head held high, and you'll be fine.

Don't make me laugh please it hurts as I literally landed on my cheek bone and I can see the swelling getting bigger just looking straight.

Do you think I could go in with sunglasses on and keep them on 8)

Bang a bag of frozen peas on the swelling to stop it from getting worse.

Accidents happen, Trish. Don't let it put you off. As Jean says, laugh about it and they will laugh with you.

Trish, it may feel like the gods are conspiring against you at the moment but I agree. It may well be the ice-breaker you need to dispell all your nerves. Keep using the frozen peas and the swelling at least will be sorted out and good luck.

Apologies to Marj and Molly then. It was early when I posted.

I am as awake as I ever will be now. Aches and pains aside, even if I do say so myself I have made a good cover up job. :D

Thanks all for your good luck wishes.

Piglet injuries not looking as bad this morning especially with the concrete I have poured over them :wink: At least my eye did not close up completely as we thought it was going to yesterday. :shock:

Off shortly to interview with two eyes open and knowing that I have all your good wishes with me, keeping them all close so that they will work. :D
