My daughter is on her way home from Australia at last. We haven't seen her since the beginning of December and I'm all excited and can't settle to anything.

Can't wait for a cuddle and a catch up :bearhug

Well she rang me from Singapore :D

Enjoy Nicky, Carrollyne and everyone else who is spending Mothers Day with there children. Unfortunately I won't see my boys but they will ring :D

I used to love it when I got a cold soggy breakfast in bed (hate breakfast in bed) with a flowers out of the garden in a vase and they all . . . 3 jumped into bed with me. Happy days :D

Now I love it when they creep into each others house now when the other has gone to bed and surprise them the next morning :D

Brilliant!

Well she is home safe and sound but I won't see her until tomorrow.

Her boyfriend bought 5 enormous bouquets which were fabulous and it took 2 cars to get them to their house. He took me shopping for an engagement ring for her 6 weeks ago and the scene was set.

He proposed the minute she walked through the door tonight and she said yes. :bounce

We are absolutely thrilled as he's like a son to us.

One very happy Mammy :lol:

Great news about the engagement.

Haven't seen my sons in twenty months so missing them like mad at the moment.

Youngest is busy jetting to Thailand every few months, eldest just back from Australia etc etc. Now I am feeling sorry for myself. :cry:

Jackie, I haven't been able to get onto the internet - it has been down when I have been at home, and when I got back last night I was too tired to use it - so haven't seen this post until this morning.

I know what it means to see your kids when you haven't seen them for several months, so my heart is with you on this one.

And the added bonus of an engagement, too. How wonderful.
