Opened the cards, had a cry - they have both picked out perfect cards and I am really touched - and am now going to have a leisurely breakfast before reality kicks in again.

Got friends over for lunch and it is a Mum's job to clean the loo!

Happy mothers day all,Opened all my cards 8 ,had a bubble . got a email fom son in Shanghigh, and call last night from eldest son that him and wife to be(in Aug) will be here next weekend. Hes driving up from london and she is flying over from cork. So quite day today
Oh working saw my mum yesterday.I think a good Dvd and some choc for me today.

Happy Mothers Day all you Mums out there.

I had my parents round for a meal last night and they stayed over so saw my Mum this morning. Just relaxing with OH now and Andrew and Emma both coming to visit later this afternoon. It will be a gift to have them both together because that happens very rarely these days now they are both grown up and have their own lives.

Day nearly over i was woken up with 2 handmade cards weetabix and toast and tea Joe and Eryn .Becca then about 2 hours later gave me a beautiful card and some lovely earings so we packed up the car and went off to lara beach for a picnic it was FREEZIN but happy to be out and chillin i hope you all had a lovely day. I have got to say the cards make me cry as they have thought about them so much and used glue and got it everywere Alex xx

Well thank you Andy -- you beat Son No 1 just got an E card someone must have reminded him. Its the thought that counts he is still the best son in the world to me.
I still look at the last card my daughter sent me some 15yrs ago she died the following November-- I will never throw this card away. Marj

Hi all
I had a lovely Mothers Day... my lovely teen(yes I know those two words dont often go together) took me out for lunch. He was fuming it cost him 50 euros but bless him he's only 14 and paid for it himself(no handout from his dad).

Then he went to watch the footy with his dad and came back just to give me a kiss before heading off to his dads.

Im going to sit and read for an hour and chill with my coffee.

Marj , no words can say how sorry I am about loosing a child,
Ive bin Pxxd off with my middle SON this week but now ive just sent a email and will phone him in the morning to sort things out, life to short to be upset with the ones close to you,plus its dads day soon


Its lookey I not in the uk cause I be in trouble,the moms day card not arrived yet. and got a txt from me Brov saying I was in trouble for not phoning her,but I been trying for 2hours, got her in the end .so me a good son now
