Now that we have a decent speed to the site, and Digby put a new battery up yesterday, I am still having problems. Apparently there is a lot of static in the air and I keep losing the internet connection. I am really bl**dy frustrated as I use my internet a lot - not just for PP but to pay bills, top up my phone, keep in touch with the boys, sent cards or presents to the UK, but more importantly for research purposes. For anyone who is moving to Cyprus and needs a good internet connection for business purposes you really need to think about where you are going to be based. Up a mountain road is perfect for me, but not so good for reliable internet connection. (No reflection on Digby - he does his best to keep me charged up). And who can control static?? I must try to top up my phone in between losing the connection. At least I won't be completely out of touch with the outside world. Verity. |

I suppose if too much electro magnectic static can cause you to lose your satellite connection, then you've really got no hope with your internet connection Verity Its that time of year when the earth gets bambarded by the suns solar flares which cause this manifestation |

Oh dear Verity. If that is the case then I may have to rethink my plans for Ineia. No I have got a better idea. I will retire completely instead Seriously though, I am thinking of doing just that. Too tired of all the stress and a dodgy internet connection will cause me even more stress. |

Tina, I am sure Digby will sort it out as soon as he can. The developers are dragging their heels I think, but I didn't expect it to be going on this long. The lack of an electricity supply is causing Digby so much hassle, and is no joke for us either. If I was you, I would retire. It is a much better plan. Verity. |

Seriously sounds interesting this ... You should see me when I'm on a roll mate no not a bread roll either I love this sort of stuff, it fascinates me, how we're being battered by what would normally fry anything in its path but we go around not even noticing anything is wrong until our Satelite or Internet stop working Mother nature protects us but can also destroy us best we keep on her good side I say |

You missed your vocation, Pete. First you waxed lyrical about geology, now astronomy. I don't know whether you know what you are on about, but it sounds good. Verity. |

I have seen you "watching" telly - through closed eyes. And I wouldn't call football informative. Do you still love me? Verity. |
