Hi i love putting faces to names and i met terrier chris. Her and her hubby called in to my place of work for a drink i do love seeing people you know when you always have a picture in your head of what people will look like. It makes me laugh as i always get it wrong when i met verity for the first time i was totally wrong i imagined a proper matrony kind of person her being a midwife. But no der i was deffo wrong she is all smiley and floaty arrrr. I am a bit mad tho when me and geoffy used to go out i used to play people watching sitting in the pub in the uk and i would come up with allsorts of exciting mad scenarios Any way lovely to meet you terrier chris see you soon Alex xx

Not been posting much due to the slowness of our computer here in Cyprus, nothing to do with PP.

I met Verity and Minerva recently for coffee at Minerva villa, we had a lovely couple of hours just chatting ( all nurses so never short of conversation!) needless to say we talked about anything and everything.

Met Pete Saturday gone watching the Toons in the George and Dragon, I wont mention the result as we are Liverpool supporters and I dont want to upset him.

Also there watching the footy was Captain Fantastic and Peppermint with friends, ended up in Othellos with them for dinner and what a great evening we had, thanks guys for inviting us.

We bought a car from a PP member and went to collect it last Friday they had friends there for lunch needless to say we were invited to join them, four hours later we were still there, what a great couple and Cyprus hospitality at its best.

We have really enjoyed meeting all of you and putting names to faces and will see you all again in the future, thanks to all.

Glad to see you have been getting around, Jan. I had a lovely morning chatting with you and Ruth - and even spent a little time with Alastair so that he didn't feel left out.

We met a couple from another forum at the weekend. They seemed to be lovely people, too. They have heard of PP - don't know how, I forgot to ask - so hopefully they may join us soon, too.

It is interesting to put names to faces, and to meet people personally to chat in 3D instead of the two dimensional forum chat.

Hi Verity you were up early, I was 6.30am, always love early morning best part of the day. How are you these days?

Back to UK tomorrow and back out to Cyprus on the 19th April so I should make April Taverna meet, although OH wont make this one he arrives a week or so later, always another time.

You are absolutely right I have met some lovely people on this visit and I hope to see more in the future.

Was nice to meet you and your other half too - just as well you were suitably tactful about the football, or I don't reckon the dinner invitation would have been quite so forthcoming!
