They must be easily available out here cos we have one and so do several of our friends.

Possibly One Stop or even Superhomestore.

They can be wired to release the door catch so that you won't have to keep walking up all those stairs. Especially in the summer if you are having a BBQ. Ken was three inches taller when you first moved here. :wink: :lol:

I know how they work Verity, thats why I'm asking about them. I think we have both shrunk since being here, although the stairs are good for getting rid of the calories.

We want it to cover the three floors, so obviously we want a good one.

Dont know how easy it will be to fit, cos of covering the distance, so hopefully someone will be able to advice.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to contact an electrician. If they fit them they will know where to get them.

Do you want any numbers for electricians, or do you have one in mind?

Try Andy's Telecom on the main road down into town from the papantonio/postoffice traffic light junction. He's on the left hand side just after the kiosk, opposite the petrol station - its a bit dusty and full of stuff but he has pretty much everything electrical and is really helpful. Am sure i saw intercoms last time i was in there.
Also he sells Wii !!! For those interested! :)

oh sorry molly just thought you wanted to talk to each other. :oops:

I often wish I could train our cat to open the door for herself, she has a cat flap and just sits and repeatedly paws it making a din as she does. It seems to be a good game for her at least!
