Verity - really, I'm surprised at you   You could have asked if he had a mate (or father, brother, cousin, uncle, etc etc etc)

Just hope it's not true about the dust storm though, I've spent all week cleaning and polishing

Dust covers Cyprus

Heavy dust from northern Africa has settled in the atmosphere, creating poor visibility across Cyprus.

The weather service has warned that the blanket of dust will remain until at least Friday; however overcast skies might bring some light rain showers this afternoon.

Temperatures will remain stable today and tomorrow at around 23oC, but on Thursday and Friday they will rise significantly, mainly over the mountains.

It is only British Summer Time as far as the clocks are concerned.

Today is the first day of spring. My one daffodil has now died off - no-one told it that it should have waited until winter had finished before it flowered.

I remember that from last year, Marj. We had to hose off the white paintwork as it was covered in red dust.

If we have a water ban this year it will have to stay red.
