Quite sad, but I was more of a Beano boy and Commando comics boy myself.

I stopped reading The Dandy under protest when they stopped doing stories on Black Bob and his master Andrew Glenn. My mother agreed it was a good thing and I should stand up for my principals, especially as she paid for the comic every week and I was 37 years old :crylaughin and had discovered :pint
Mind you I grew up reading The Dandy,The Beano and The Victor, and of all the characters Black Bob was my favourite.
Aaaahhhh Progress.

Sad times I saw something on the BBC news, apparently american tv programmes run comics as part of their franchising like spongebob and simpsons and mainly are to blame for the sales drop.
