Can anyone help with a phone number for a funeral home in Paphos please? I believe the one called Guardian Angels (I think) have been talked about on the forum, but I have tried a search and can't find anything. The British Embassy in Nicosia may have alternate numbers and information that may help your friend and give her a better choice and possibly a better deal as it is a very expensive business and not all people may have unlimited funds. My condolences to them on losing a loved one. |

A friend of our's husband died several years ago and the British Commission was no help whatsoever. Although he had a lot of money she had no access to it and was left destitute,and while her solicitor was prepared to indemnify the Commission pending probate they would not help her. |
