Paphos People

Hi

We will be arriving next weekend and staying for 6 weeks or so. We have an apartment in the Universal area and are both keen to see if we can find a hotel with gym facilites that will allow locals to use them for the short term.

We are looking at the hotels on the road from the harbour towards the Cypria Maris or anywhere else in and around the Universal area.

Does anyone know if any of the hotels would allow us to use their facilities and if so what the charges could be?

The Paphiessa has a gym, not sure its the most modern, but certainly close to you in Universal.

The King Jason Hotel/Apartments have a good gym and indoor and outdoor swimming pools that you can use. The best directions are to go along the new Dual Carriageway towards Tomb of the Kings Road and turn right at the lights by the Big Church then take the first right, they are down there.

Hi John,

I belong to this one (well until the end of September) http://www.spatoniccyprus.com/gym_membership.html and if you are willing to go at 8.30 every morning and pay half my petrol then that would help me out and you would be getting a good gym. I go to aqua aerobics at the moment three times a week, but would go more if had a gym buddy, so if you and the wife (sorry having a senior moment again and can't for the life of me remember her name) want to come and can't find a better deal elsewhere then the offer is there, especially since I have a good idea of where you live, so I won't get lost (I am notorious for it).

Trish, as we have a load of work to do on he apartment while we are across we are really looking for something we can use on an as and when basis, something handy for us to walk to when the mood takes us, but thanks for the offer. Maureen and I hope you are keeping well.

The King Jason or Paphiessa seem to be the more local ones for us so we will probably check them out once we get there.
