I was down the limanaki this weekend and whilst looking at the major works noticed this sign .... to suggest Pafos is the municipality, Paphos is the town ! As this is surely an official notice they must know what they are doing right ? |

BD, You may be right mate I always thought Pafos was the Cypriot way of spelling it with Paphos being the Brits prefered way Now I'm not sure Pete |

That says it all I love spotting the thousands of spelling mistakes you find over here.. menus are a great source. I remember seeing a business card for a Chinese restaurant in ayia napa , it read Ayia napa`s finest Chinese cousin |

I saw this sign when I was down in the Falkands, all it said was 'Tree' & an arrow pointing across the landscape to a single tree in the distance.. I think it was there so people who visited the Falklands actually saw a tree on their visit, as it's so wind swept down there, nothing above ground level lives for too long Sorry I know this as nothing to do with Cyprus or Paphos but I thought it was funny Pete |
