I wish you could have explained what the link was about Poppytim For those that don,t know...the link is about Fox news talking about the virus being man made in Wuhan Lab I think that the truth will come out eventually about what has happened and what is happening globally I am still on the fence on this one...but have unanswered questions! Like I cannot understand how they contained the virus to Wuhan for many weeks before they locked down and not even 1 person caught it in Beijing and other mayor Cities in China? Yet the world all got it? Hm! |

The 'media and social networks are full of 'conspiracy theories' here are a few It's up to you which you 'believe' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misinformation_related_to_the_2019%E2%80%9320_coronavirus_pandemic One of my current favorite conspiracy theories is that Greta Thunberg was unhappy that governments were not listening to her, so she contacted a group of extra-terrestrials ‘known’ to be living in Sweden, to make the virus |

Your link is to the Epoch Times. The Epoch Times is a multi-language newspaper. It was founded in 2000 by John Tang and a group of Chinese Americans associated with the Falun Gong spiritual movement. Though the newspaper is known for general interest topics with a focus on news about China and its human rights issues, it has become known for its support of U.S. President Donald Trump and favorable coverage of far-right politicians in Europe; a 2019 report showed it to be the second-largest funder of pro-Trump Facebook advertising after the Trump campaign https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Epoch_Times Make of it as you will Coronavirus: BCG rumours and other stories fact-checked https://www.bbc.com/news/52310194 |

How Covid19 started is as yet not factually known, what is known however that it is a wonderful opportunity for 'big pharma companies' to profit from it by making trillions of dollars in vaccines. |

So do you think it was them that ordered it made? or maybe the mask and gown / PPE manufacturers Unfortunately, someone somewhere will always profit from others misfortune |

In a previous post I informed you what my Cousin Dr Peter Daszak is President of Eco Health Alliance, a US-based organisation that conducts research and outreach programs on global health, conservation and international development and study of pathogens and cross migration. He has always said that nearly all of the pandemics step from cross contamination between animals and humans, he was heavily involved with Sars and now working with other experts to eradicate this new pandemic. If you read his tweets and other press releases and from leading experts, they say it was caused by contamination at the sea food market and transmitted by bats due to poor and general unhygienic practices in the market, bats did not bite people just dedicated on food the rest you can imagine. Regrettably the Chinese authorities sanitised that area before the world health authorities could get in, why - no one will ever know, you can speculate about that and like most other mysteries there will always be conspiracy theories. |

Understand all of that ....and agree with possible bat link But sources out there are saying that bats where not sold at the wet fish markets Fish and wild animals where sold there but not bats! This is also an excellent read from Wikipedia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huanan_ ... ale_Market |

Hi Migmogs, Sorry if I did not express my point clearly enough, it is thought that bats that passed on the virus by contaminating the food products, there are a lot of bats in that region feeding on what ever they can get, I along with my cousin are not suggesting eating bats caused the virus. To give you a similarity, back here in the UK we have foxes that were once rarely seen in urban areas, now they forage in towns, who is to say that they will not eventually bring disease, like any wild animal that comes into contact with humans you have a risk, just saying. |

Covid-19 could have been transmitted to humans by stray dogs which had eaten bat meat, according to a study. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/scie ... 65141.html The Chinese city of Shenzhen has banned the eating of dogs and cats from 1st May https://globalnews.ca/news/6766984/coro ... -cats-ban/ |

The research lab in Wuhan that has been experimenting with bats (collected from caves hundreds of miles away) and their viruses, is only a short distance from the epicentre of the virus outbreak. This laboratory had already aroused concern around the world for its lax safety procedures before the outbreak. But if you prefer to think that bats had infected the food, then I suspect you are in a minority.
