I believe the government has done deals with a couple of ferry companies allowing the cheap mooring whilst out of service, apparently docking a cruise liner costs a fortune.

There are four huge Carnival cruise liners currently moored off Moni, near Limassol, with another two on the way!

Looked on Live Ships AIS tonight and the Stena Lagan is on its way to Piraeus. Interested me as this ship usually does the Irish run from Liverpool and is based on the Mersey.
