For those with decks, I am considering either good quality planks or the preformed decking planks. In your experience which is the easier to install and maintain, also any recommendations where to obtain such items please. Thanks in advance. |

Tanny. much depends on your budget, i have used both hardwood and composite, the hardwood as long as its decent quality is fine composite decking again it has to be of decent quality will keep its colour wont split or twist and easier to fix with the fixing brackets, the most important thing is a good sub frame, seen some good quality hardwood 145x 25 mm from a company near the Keo factory. |

A friend of mine had brown plastic decking panels installed, I'm sure they will last for ever without maintenance but they did not look right ! |

As i said you need to buy good quality composite if you are going to use it plus it can get hot under foot |
