Given what we have experienced in restaurants & bars since emerging from lock-down (in terms of few customers, partial openings etc.) it seems more than likely that very few, if any, venues will remain open during the winter.

This leaves us with the bleak prospect of succumbing to 'cabin fever', unless we choose to leave Cyprus & stay in another country until spring next year.

However, the $64k question is obviously where to fly out to that is safe from Covid-19 & has entertainment available?

Seriously though, I have had a similar thought and the problem at the moment is that things are so fluid and could change overnight

I am leaving a decision till October on winter nesting arrangements and see what the world is like then !!!!!!!!!

Judging by the fact new cases are rising & IMHO will continue to do so as the expected tourists start to arrive, we will probably be back in full lockdown by end of October.

I did notice a significant increase in people wearing masks yesterday, probably in response to the 300 euro fine if you are caught not wearing one!
