As you are aware, we need to pay UK tax on our Military Pensions as of 1 Jan 2025 although we reside in Cyprus.
Continue to pay Cyprus Tax on our UK State Pension.
Although on the Cyprus Tax return I can see that against the pension amount you can put the figure that has been withheld in Tax, I cannot see on the return where it would come up in deductions as a deduction for tax withheld at source.
It mentions tax held for pension income in the republic, then it goes on to say see notes in SDC, but in SDC notes although it mentions overseas tax the columns opposite mentions Rent, Interest, Dividends on the semesters but not pensions.
Obviously after declaring the UK Pension I need it to show tax withheld and deducted.
Any comments and advice is greatly appreciated.
