The UK has announced that from Sunday 1 November, all travellers arriving from Cyprus will have to isolate. In addition they have advised only essential travel to Cyprus so insurance will probably be invalid should some decide to risk it. |

From the BBC news https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-54734338 I was shocked when I heard this on the news, if anything it should be the other way round because we are in a far worse condition than Cyprus, how can they justify this, do the Government know what they are doing. |

Our R rate per 100,000 is way above what the uk is asking for from countries having to isolate in return So legitimate closing of corridor Cyprus should have stopped the uk from arriving weeks ago But needed the tourists |

Agree Migmogs. Quite high cases now in Cyprus for the population and what strikes me is that when they carry out more tests then the cases go up so when the cases are high why don't they do more tests but they don't and I just wonder how many there would be if they did 5k tests plus per day? They are struggling with contact tracing now because of the high figures so just how many cases are going around undetected but infecting others? |
