I rang my pensioner friend today who lives in upper Peyia, he is very upset that he has lost his dog.

Yesterday 13 December - Unknowingly someone left his gate open and the dog escaped, it was a while before he realised he had gone, by then it was to late, Paul is in his late 70's and not too good on his legs and with the virus restrictions cannot get out to look for him.

The dog is a large male Labrador cross, he answers to the name JAKE, he has a collar with name tag and a telephone number, also the dog is micro chipped.

Paul is distraught and wants him back so if anyone knows where Jake is please PM me and I will email you his number.

Paul lives up past the Junior school on a street called Louki Akrita, so the dog could be anywhere in that region.

Or how to contact him
No one will be out now

Hi Migmogs, Thanks for your reply, sorry I do not do Facebook not my thing, as for contacting Paul you can either do it via PM on here or the VETS in Peyia, the dog is registered and they know Paul very well.

If they find the dog he has a collar with all the details, address and a contact telephone number, as I said earlier Jake is micro chipped so they will also be able to trace Paul via that.

Address Paul lives past the Junior School on the left at the cross road go straight across and follow the road to the top and he lives near there.

Not sure if Paul (or Dave) will allow me to put full contact details on here or his last name, will get back to you on that score.

Thanks all
Ian

NOTE - JAKE IS A FRIENDLY DOG SO DO NOT LET HIS SIZE PUT YOU OFF

:celeb2 Great news Paul has just rang me to say that he has been reunited with his beloved dog, Paul is in tears and really unable to talk, but from what I could understand someone from the forum found him tied up near Deep Blue Pools office, when I learn more I will let you know.

The person that found him wants to remain anonymous and I will respect their wishes, either way a good result, who ever found him a great big thank you from me and a even bigger one one from Paul. :cheers

I had put it out onto the PEG forum and loads went out looking for him ...some even knew who he was ....

Then they posted that he had been found and that he was back home safely with your friend

So a great success

Merry Christmas

Jake went home to his Dad, had a bath and a meal, by all accounts he ate with gusto, then he went to his bed, curled up and slept solid.

His Dad cannot get over the kindness of the people on this site, he does not own a computer and has asked me to put this on the forum on his behalf.

(From Paul and in his words)

To the members of the forum and others, may I say many thanks for your kindness and help, I live alone and my dogs are my family, I would be lost without my dogs, they mean the world to me, I do not know what I would do without them.

These past few days have left me depressed and lonely, now you have really made my Christmas, to think that during these hard times people have gone out of their to search for him have left me very humble.

May I wish you all a very merry Christmas and Thank you. - Paul

May I also say to everyone THANK YOU.
