Eighteen young people at a house party were booked by police for breaking the 9pm curfew in the early hours of Saturday in Konia, Paphos.

According to the police, the party was discovered an hour after midnight. When officers arrived, some of the partygoers tried to flee but they were all caught and booked to breaking Covid decrees.

Police booked a total of 79 people for violations island wide in the past 24 hours out of 4,272 checks.

I am so sick of hearing these tales, especially in the UK. At least in Cyprus everyone gets booked whereas it seems in the UK just a couple get booked and the rest let off with a warning.
Don't people realise it is those that violate the rules who are responsible for this ongoing pandemic?
