After years of our complaints being ‘batted’ away by companies such as Alliance Partnership, various ombudsmen and the Cyprus shrugs, there is now a group of us headed by a legal team that are taking the rogue companies to court in the UK.

Please look up the Cyprus Investors recovery action group for details.

If you have lost money due to bad, illegal investment advice, then this group is for you.

There is a no win no fee guarantee, so you have nothing to lose.

Finally, after years of complaints, there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

What redress is there if the 'adviser' in question is no longer alive?! I know someone who was fleeced by a certain late 'Investor' who I'm sure would be interested in the group but like I said the 'adviser' passed away a while back!

It is not the rogue advisers that are being prosecuted at present, maybe later for those that are surviving.
It is the investment companies who are being sued for accepting such obvious unsuitable investments such as structured notes, and investing in contracts only suitable for professional investors. They turned a blind eye as long as the money was rolling in.
Now it is time for them to pay!
Tell your friend to look up the action group for more details.

I know that there is likely to be in excess of 200 claimants from Cyprus and Spain. Maybe also Malta.
Go to the action group page on Facebook for more info.
The more people who sign up the better our chances of success.

Legal papers have been served to OMI in the Isle do Man. Might be some time before we hear from them but let’s hope the victims are successful and can receive some recompense.

Let’s hope the action in the link below is successful.
It will help our legal case against Quilter (OMI) which commenced this month.

Okay, who are you?

With all due respect all you have on this forum is a user name, like mine it is a user name but not my actual name, how do we know that you are not a scammer.

I am sure the members would like more information.

Like one good member said, where do you figure in this, how do we know that you are not one of the scammers.

No disrespect Just being cautious

To low voltage and others. My business is my business and my personal details are just that.

I think, by the nature of my post, that it should be obvious that I have been scammed. I am not a financial scammer.

Why don’t you look at the Cyprus Investors Recovery Action Group on Facebook?

The group has been organised by 2 people, one or whom is a semi retired solicitor who is so incensed by what has happened, he is not making any charge for his services.

If our group is successful with our legal claim, against OMI/Quilter, which was presented to the UK courts this month, we shall be attacking those financial scammers that still live in Paphos and surrounds.
If you are one of them, I suggest you start packing your bags.

I find this last paragraph offensive and threatening and obviously from someone who has not read my question correctly.

Clicking on your link it looks very amateurish with flying bats, if you watch the UK news this is the type of thing scammers do, my question was how do we know it is not a scam, you assume everyone does Facebook, well I do not and there are dozens more on this forum who do not.

My question was legitimate and you in my opinion have reacted as a scammer would do, yes members would like to be safe but you have not give us anything to substantiate why we should look at this.

I am sorry if you have taken offence at two members legitimate questions, but to threaten is bang out of order, to suggest that I am a scammer again is bang out of order.

May I request the moderator look at the last paragraph and rule accordingly.
