We have a very good friend who sadly lost their partner tragically this time last year

They are in their over mid 70,s
Are we able with these strict times
Able to ask our friend over to our house
So that they are no longer isolated and alone?

And if so...what number is written in the consent form to leave your home? Is it 8 other!

I would try either 5 or 8

Social gatherings:
Provide assistance to people who cannot look after themselves (give pharmaceuticals, provide care, supply foodstuffs etc). These people must take all personal protective measures and remain only for as long as needed to care for the person so as not to expose the individual to danger.

5: To help people who cannot look after themselves or cannot protect themselves or are in isolation at home or designated quarantine premises
8: Any other reason that can be justified on the basis of the restrictions

Hi Guys

Well the Animals are not benefiting from COVID .

At 06.30 this morning yet again woken by the Guns , I just wonder how they completed the form
and did the get approval .

Surely Hunting is not considered essential work LOL

You are right Les

Where on the form is a number for hunting?
And I thought that you had to stay close to home?

Before Christmas the rules were tightened and nobody is allowed to have visitors in their home, other that helpers or people coming to perform work.

On that basis I am afraid that the strict answer is no. Your only option is to risk being creative with the code that you use to get permission to go out. Just bear in mind that the reason that we all have to stay apart is to help get rid of this thing as quickly as possible and breaking the rules just prolongs things.

I really don't mean to sound harsh, but that really is the reality of the situation. If we can all knuckle down now, then maybe the restrictions can be lifted quicker.

It's probably not a viable option, but you are allowed to go to the beach to swim or fish!

I completely agree...we all need to knuckle down
A chat ...whilst excercising , walking near to home sounds the better plan
That will remain inside protocols

Never been a rule breaker...the covid rules are here for a reason...that I fully respect

Stay safe all
