For 20 years been paying my road tax at my branch of BOC, but today went there to pay and told can't pay it at bank any more. Told to either pay on line or at Insurance Office. Went to Atlantic's office who said can't pay there and never heard of what bank told me. If you don't do internet banking how else are you supposed to pay the tax?

Old Twister, you will probably make it easier for yourself by using your BOC card and paying on the JCC website, as you evidently have access to a computer.
Internet banking is easy and you save on petrol & shoe-leather !
I've used the system for several years ....... and had no problems (except for my complaint that it has been costing me 660 euros per year to do so !). :huff

Thanks for that. I've never had the need to use JCC before but it looks as though I might have to this time.

Only just noticed that BOC has closed their branch on the triangle. That always seemed to be a popular branch, recently with queues outside. There won't be many left soon!

Most banks have queues outside due to the current limit on numbers inside. The branch was always popular with tourists, so I wonder whether, given the lack of tourists last, they took the opportunity to use the lack of tourist numbers as an excuse to close it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the bank supplies a service and you pay bank charges, what I see is charges going up and services going down and still being expected to embrace the cashless society.
I hope my bank , Hellenic don't come up with this crap.
