Another BIG fire
Akurso, in Pegeia, a large fire has been raging out of control, threatening the forest area and the properties of the inhabitants.
Airplanes have already rushed to the area and started operating from the air, while strong ground forces of the Forest Department, the Fire Brigade, Thera, the Civil Defence and the Paphos District Administration are also in the area.

I have to say, watching from Peyia the helicopters and planes were very impressive, of course the men on the ground who have to tackle the fire directly are brave beyond the call of duty.
