Hello
We are due to have our Booster Vaccines tomorrow at the General Hospital

We are B ( which I think means Pfyzer)

Any help on directions when we get to the hospital will be much appreciated

Thank you all in advance

Go in through the main entrance and turn hard right. It is about two thirds of the way down the corridor on the left side and is well signposted and there is usually someone outside taking names

Thank you so much for your great instructions

Is this for those with appointments as well as walk ins?

Yes, when I had mine there was a woman who arrived just before me as a walk in.

Well our boosters done and dusted

For our Pfizer we where in group B

We had to walk straight ahead as you go through the main entrance
With the signing in booths on your right hand side
Walk down a short corridor ....It is all clearly sign posted ...saying group B
And everyone was dealt with very efficiently

So be aware that diferent areas are being used

Hi, not sure from your comments whether you are saying that they have moved the rooms used for vaccinations. A and B have always been down the corridor on the right hand side and are right next to each other.

Never had to sign in for a vaccination though, so surprised at that one.

I am back there on Saturday taking a wheelchair user for their booster, so I guess I will find out.

Hi Effsie

I asked the woman at the front door who takes your temperature ...where was area B please for our vaccination ....she said straight on ....we went down a corridor....and ended up in an open area ...with seats in it ..there was a girl there and if you had an appointment you signed in or maybe you might say ...we gave our name and she ticked off our names on a list ...she took our old vaccination card off us to give in to the small room where we where vaccinated a few steps away ...they filled in all of our details from our old vaccination card as we where being vaccinated ...and then gave the old vaccination card and the new vaccination card back to us as we left the vaccination room

Extremely well organized

But things change all of the time

That area sounds like where all the GPs offices are.

I wonder why they moved it.

Thanks for the update.

Might have moved it again Effsie who knows...could be for when places are not in use?

Worth asking for the area A or B that you need to go to ....when you walk through the door and are having your temp checked

Take care

Just back from the general hospital having taken my friend for her booster.

Procedure for us was just the same as I did previously - in through the door, hard right and down the corridor to a room on the left. The section for people with pre-booked jabs was empty but the bit for walk ins was absolutely heaving!
