Post subject: | Retrofit Pool ‘Stairs' UPDATE |
Latest update from Lloyd Just to complete the story: the pool after-market pool steps arrived a week ago and we installed the first set of steps last Tuesday. Unfortunately, the German Shepherd they were bought for has a skin condition which precludes him using the pool at the moment. Nevertheless, both we and the customer were pleased with the end result, far nicer quality than we dared hope for. Very solid, can take up to 180kg in weight. I first assembled the steps in the air conditioned comfort of my hallway, before taking it to the customer’s house in Limassol. We had to add some sand as ballast, but the steps were very secure once fastened in position. Attachment: Plastic steps a.jpg Attachment: Plastic steps b.jpg Attachment: Plastic steps c.jpg

Justin from Lloyd The retail is €599 including VAT. Plus €99 for fabrication, installation and 20kg of sand (for ballast). However, the first 10 customers will not pay the €99. Plus, if we can take a pic of their K9 using the steps, €20 off the €599. And if we can take a pic of them (humans) using the steps, a further €20 off the €599. So it could be as little as €559. Steps created inside the pool in the normal way are € 900 to €1,200 + VAT - I know because we have installed enough of them. Plus it means the pool has to be re-lined at the same time. |
