Sadly your item doesnt mention any geographical element as I am certain most of the salaries in the Paphos region are probably even less. |

It didn’t mention the tied 3rd world country workers Brought in as housemaids, childcarers, farm workers etc And like Tanny cannot help but wonder if these are not the wages quoted for the Paphos area I remember talking to a young friend from a Lithuania she was a waitress her boyfriend was head waiter ...she proudly told us ...that her boyfriend was so skilled as head waiter...that he was able to earn 7 euros an hour ...she was thrilled and proud with him earning this amount ...this was just before lockdown ...she was on much less than 7 euros an hour I have heard of waitresses earning around 3.50 to 5.00 euros an hour Lots of people in Cyprus work 2-3 jobs daily to get through to pay their bills |

Any survey that comes from a government, government body or any affiliated quango or ngo, should be regarded as nothing more than propaganda p1sh. Remember there is an election on the horizon so everything will be bigged up for personal gain. |
