Paphos People

Last week was our first visit to Paphos since Covid messed up things. One thing in particular I noticed was the increased usage of Bicycles, Motor Scooters (Lambretta type) and Electric Scooters amongst younger people.
On a good number of occasions, we saw that ignoring traffic lights, one-way signs and riding on Footpaths seems to have become general practice.

It was good to be back although Paphos did look a little tired and quite a number of properties closed.
Neil as usual made us very welcome and we look forward to visiting next spring all being well.

A large chunk of the increased scooter use is by wolt/bolt type food delivery . Food delivery since the start covid has increased enormously and so eating out has declined , you will notice many restaurants have gone.
