Good Morning

I am trying to complete online Tax Return for 2022 but the online system only goes upto 2021. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do?

Thank you

Wow. 44 people have looked at this post and not one reply. Do I take it that none of you pay tax or that no one wants to help anymore.

I do not post very often, in fact probably a few years ago now but Paphos People have always come through with an answer to a question before.. I think times have changed now..

I am sure I will find the answer to my original question, it will just take me longer than I anticipated.

Thank you

As one of those 44 people who looked at this post I am unable to help because I submit my paperwork to my accountant at the beginning of the year and she deals with the actual submission of the details when the system becomes available. I wait until September and contact her for a copy of my Tax Return.

So, it's not necessarily a case of people being unhelpful, but more not being able to give you the correct answer to your specific question.

Better to have a factual answer than ''I think........'' or telling you about previous tax years.

Welcome to MY world... Over the past month alone I have posted many times....for example, on 5 recent posts they had the following views
142 : 234 :195 : 184 : 322
They had to following replies
NONE
1 post had 500 views with 2 replies, both from same person
When people do post help or advice, it is incredibly rare they get a ‘thank you’ and even rarer that anyone comes leaves ‘feedback’ on whether or not the information was useful or not

Maybe times have changed with more people relying on social media for their information and help
I recently posted this
“Please feel free if you want to post a thread about a news item; to share a story or experience or ask a question.....you honestly don’t need to leave it all to me, it is A FORUM

PS I hadn't replied to your post since you didn't say if it was the the old Taxisnet system or the new one. I was waiting for an accountant to come back to me to tell me what the position was since there was 2 ways to pay tax

I do know that it is not unusual at all for the Taxinet system be unavailable until July for person returns. It may be different for business returns. The new system will not be available to personal returns until 2024 according to the tax department. Hope this helps.
