i bought some Lidl tilsitter cheese, only to find it tasted funny , when reading the label on the back i found it to be lactose free and vegetarian , if it had have been practical i would have returned it, i expected cheese as it said on the front of the packet ! they realy should put warning labels on the FRONT of the packet so you know what you are buying is not cheese ! this seems to only apply to to tilsitter sliced , other sliced cheeses and tilsitter block appears to in fact be cheese, tut its a constant struggle against the special needs minority

Vote with your pocket and dont buy it and let as many people as possible know. In fact even the apparently better retailers sell GMO Vegan and other hidden crap. If god wanted us to follow the special needs in society he 3would have designed us as vegan lesbian men.

way to go tanny, i always suspected we were on pretty much the same page, now i know for sure we are, you have a similar feelings to the " Heinz 57 " as i do. after having googled and found there to be i think 73 genders, i took sedatives to cure my laughing fit and though the old english term for describing a mongrel dog was fitting. actually what i find most annoying is having this minority crap rammed down our throats, do it but go on about it.
also i have long thought shops should be divided into 2 sections ,one being normal food and the other with low fat, suger free, decaf, gluten free, alcohol free, meat free meat , packed with bug powder! etc........i dont say people should not eat pharma-food but there do need to be much bigger warnings so you know your doing it.

Lordy be the world is still turning  - people with lactose intolerance will know to buy it what's the problem? If you feel that entitled about it then email Lidl customer services!

It's not exactly life threatening like nuts in someone with a severe allergy!

Dollydaydream the problem was i expected normal cheese and it was not ! the only reason i checked the back of the packet was the cheese did not taste right ! i dont have any known alergys or intolerences and so dont make a habit to check the back of the packet. on checking yesterday there was no normal sliced tilsitter and this gluten free product was mixed up with normal products .
ps i have emailed Lidl and complained about the new chaotic layout , i suggested a oneway system ! and also normal and special products being mixed.

Lactose free and vegetarian IS still cheese. It's only the vegan nonsense that you need to worry about.

Whether or not you like the taste is a completely different matter as that can be the case with any cheese.

i shall choose my purchases with much greater care in future to ensure im a am buying what i expect. as a man i dont check the labels, in shops you see women checking the packets front and back carefully whereas most men pick it up and drop in the basket, this error i must correct !
Effsie , i bought tilsitter and expected to taste like tilsitter, it did not !

still i think this post is done to death !
