Was in Paps in Chloraka yesterday and noticed they've very thoughtfully blocked both rear fire exits.

Of all things, one has charcoal stacked in front of it and also has a sliding bolt at the top of the door.

The other has a couple of displays in front of one of the doors and wooden bread cupboard completely blocking the other.

I've also posted this on CL to raise awareness of this blatant disregard for safety. This same store habitually stack pallet loads of product down the middle of the isles which would be a nightmare trying to negotiate during a fire when all the lights are out and the place full of smoke or fumes.

I'm wondering if the fire brigade issue certificates to these people.

Which I for one find a total pain in the a..... I can honestly say that due to the cramped isles I have often not purchased certain products because I couldn't be bothered to stand between the pallets and isle only to be whacked by a trolley every 5 seconds. It's the closest supermarket to me, but I now shop in Orphanides at the Mall as there is loads more space.

30 year old male, moaning about the experience of shopping for food............somebody shoot me.

Nosher posted this week or so ago in Paps on the Mesogi Ave.

Still as bad today.

I've only been to the new Orphanides at the Mall twice, and I've seen you there both times - you sure you don't have some strange supermarket fetish thing going on?? :D

No supermarket fetish. However, I am a firm believer that everyone should have their own personal stalker
