Our 6 month puppy, Bracken, went to the Vet's this morning [recommended by Verity] and had THE operation of neutering, also Microchipped, Anal glands unblocked, Dew claws and nails clipped, Eye check [for watering] and a full health check. We are so impressed by Yiannis in St Raphael, Emba - just along from Pappa's.He was absolutely superb with Bracken and we recommend him wholeheartedly. Bracken is feeling a bit sorry for himself tonight and rather quiet, but no side-effects. I think we are feeling it more!

Hi Ruth,

Poor Bracken. But I am sure he will be his old self in no time - minus a couple of unnecessary requirements. :wink:

Yiannis is a caring vet. He looked after Toby when he was so poorly, and the only reason I didn't take Toby to him when he had to be put to sleep is because he told me he didn't give sedation as part of the process. He did give me his reasons, but I needed to know that he was sedated - so it was for my benefit rather than Toby's.

He doesn't have an assistant, and he doesn't have shelves full of fancy stuff to make extra money. But I think he is a darn good vet and am happy to take my animals to him.

Bracken thanx you for your enquiry. He was back to his usual self very quickly! He says that Yiannis is the 'mutt's nuts' - or at least that's where he left his!! :lol: :lol:
He still has an eye for the girls, however! Down boy!!
