Got back home yesterday afternoon, and once I had made the place look less like a batchelor pad (
) I got on the sofa and slept most of the evening and all night. In fact, I may go back to bed again after I have had breakfast. I was averaging 3 hours sleep in 24 in the hospital, so I am catching up.
I think we have finally got the correct medication - much less discomfort now - so all I need to do is get my appetite back. I am sure Phil will sort that one out.
Although it has been a bit of a scary interlude I feel positive that the results will come back ok. I have to have further biopsies in a few week's time, but if the original ones are fine I can't see that they will find anything nasty in the second lot. There are people battling with worse stuff than I have faced, so I count myself lucky.
I will get back on the board, but am going to try to follow doctor's orders and just sit around, rest and read. Yeah, right!
