Is that it? Did something very similar myself once - was painting the floor of my bedroom - all going very nicely until i found myself by the window with no way out and a drying time of 6-8 hours! You wouldn't think anyone could be that stupid, but it genuinely didn't occur to me until it was way too late! I have to say Yvonne wasn't particularly sympathetic when she came home and found me there either.... |

Its possible that its no mistake, I can see a series of council workers who believe they can secure their jobs for at least another week whilst they remove the posts, move the van then re set the posts. However the council are delighted at this as it means they can also retain the services of several management consultants who can decide what went wron, what actually happened, how to resolve it and which member of the public to blame for speaking to the workmen when they were digging (or was that planting, the consultants will decide). |
