Here’s a thought:-
PUT THE ELDERLY AND PENSIONERS IN PRISON

We should place the elderly and pensioners in prison because:-
1. They will get a hot shower every day
2. There is video surveillance in case of problems
3. They would get 3 hot meals a day
4. They would be warm
5. They would have access to a library, computers, TV’s and Gyms
6. They would have an ‘on-site’ doctor and get fee medication.

PUT THE CRIMINALS IN CARE HOMES
We should put criminals in care homes because:-
a. They will get a shower twice a week
b. They will get cold badly cooked meals
c. They will have ‘lights out’ at 7pm
d. They will sleep in a room smaller than a prison cell and pay £2,000+ per month for the privilege

It’s pretty sad that we treat prisoners better than the elderly and pensioners.

Not our findings at all after my father had to go into a residential care home last summer in UK.....
Only d. is partly correct.... in respect of the cost involved, that's all.

And I don't find the comments remotely funny so have no idea why it's in a section marked "Jokes" :-/
