I am planning on importing a Honda HRV very soon.

Mindful of the Cypriot MOT that it will need before it gets registered I guess that it will need new tyres as it has 4 different makes currently!!
Bridgestone, Good Year, Michelin and Triangle

What would be the price of 205/60/16 tyres in Paphos?? Or shall I get them done in the UK??

:-)

We have just had 2 new tyres for our pick up and they cost us 200 euros a special deal through a friend so compare that with UK costs. I would think you would get a better deal in the UK though .
Ask Simon Emery as he will know the costs here for 4 new tyres for an HRV and you can do the sums.

green max will cost €230 a set from costas tyres . you are better to buy a budget tyre as are harder compount and a tyre in full sun will reach 60 °c.

Simon, this makes a move to Cyprus even more compelling!

Two years ago I changed all 4 tyres on my Jag X-type and the cost was over £530 at KwikFit for 4 Continental tyres. What would the equivalent cost in Cyprus be?

Hmm, thanks Simon, most interesting.
I had a quote from Costas and the cheapest he offered were 'Evergreen' at about 30% more than that.

I had 4 tyres fitted to my CRV by Costa's last November they cost €280.
I just priced up the same tyres fitted in my home town in the UK £244 (€281)

Here's a site I found https://www.tyrescy.com/index.php?wlan=en you can have them delivered to one of their nominated fitters or have them sent direct to you and then arrange fitting yourself. Not used them myself yet but checking prices against others they are very competitive.

Have you checked out Zeka Tyres (AKA Mickey Thompson)? Saw them recommended on another forum and found them to be the best deal for me. They also sorted out a problem with the brakes on our Honda Jazz - new pads, replacement (used) disks and labour all for €80!
