So does this stop the police from pulling you over for not displaying your tax disc in your windscreen

Got my MOT today and the disk is no more. There is now a rectangular disk-equivalent as part of the MOT certificate. If you carry this in your glove box it replaces the need for a disk on the windscreen. I checked with the MOT guy and that's what he confirmed. |

Fraid not. You still need to display the tax disk and, unless you have a new-style MOT cert, the MOT disk. |
