3,851 people test positive on Thursday

The health ministry announced that one person had died of Covid-19 and that 3,851 had tested positive from 114,743 PCR and rapid tests, a positivity rate of 3.36 per cent.

The death concerned a woman aged 95 who died at Larnaca hospital.

There are 178 people in hospitals of whom 84 are in serious condition. Of these, 28 are intubated.

The ministry said that the percentage of unvaccinated patients was 85.4 per cent.
