Can anyone outline the current rules for importing a vehicle from the UK which is owned for less than 6 months by the importer.
Thanks

a bit like they did on my recent car import (although the car was 15 months old), Registered as a hatchback in the UK, then I paid Cypriot import duty on an SUV, then when I got the Cypriot Reg doc they said it was a saloon, queried it and its now its registered as an SUV :banghead probably changed it to an SUV as they thought that I would want some of the import money back.

I doubt that the comments you have read on your thread are what you want. However do be patient and someone will come along with the correct info for you. :greetings

Do you need a special program to open the above ?

I *think* it's a 'read only' document.

Just click on 'save as' and then save it somewhere (that you can remember where!!!) and then you should be able to enter the data.

It opens up a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet document on my system, it may open in Open Office but I don't have it.

I can confirm the the calculator does open in open office . I was thinking of bringing in a car from the UK next year , but after running the figures through the calc ....perhaps not.
