I wondered why both my dogs were eating the Hibiscus flowers as though they were going out of fashion in the last week or two. After researching have found that certain varieties are a delicacy in Mexico, can be used to make a tea and the red variety - abundant here can be used for hair loss and is great as a shampoo. You have guessed I am going to go and get loads of the flowers and leaves and soak them in water and make a paste to make my own shampoo, plus might thicken my hair up a bit, then I can let Steve use it as well. |
