Mine is really very pungent, especially in the evenings.

We bought one from Andre and Penny at the DP about 3 months ago and it seemed to take a while to "get started".

Now its getting some leafage, some light green flowers and seems to be healthy. However:

Do these normally only smell after dark (as ours has no fragrance during the day)?
How long does the fragrance last?
When and how much (if at all) should I prune from the branches?
How long can it be kept in a large pot or will it need put into the ground eventually?
Thanks in advance

Many of them will smell all day as they don't wear anti perspirant - but I don't feel it's fair to pick on just one race.

Sorry couldn't resist!

The name is Pakistanos in greek and it is a night time plant with a very heavy fragrance.
Pakistanos has been reported as putting people into a VERY deep sleep if outside their bedroom window and is not advised.
I personally love the smell from a distance.
There is no reason why it cannot be kept in a large pot if you want to move it about
