Our friends from Scotland were here on holiday and bought a beautiful Bottle Brush Bush as a 'Thank You' - I am so thrilled as I have always wanted one. There is mention on the Internet that they don't like cold weather and prefer areas under 300 metres - and we are 600!! Anyone with experience? Will it be best left in the pot and therefore moved to a sheltered area come winter [and keep it under control, as I believe they grow up to 5 metres!!]??

I bought myself one last Saturday, along with some other plants - just trying to brighten my place up. Apparently they are native to Australia, and can survive in drought conditions ('appen as well, eh?).
